My "Revelation art project" was inspired by the "Revelation to John". I started to read and illustrate this biblical book in the summer of 2017. First I wanted to represent the story literally, faithfully to the original text. But somehow the drawings started to transform, my earlier experiences and feelings from my private life flowed into the stories and once I realized, that I was drawing not the revelations of John but the revelations of mine.

The theme of Apocalypse is very interesting for me because I always wonder why people are doing obviously bad processes and actions - at individual and global levels. We all see the consequences of our actions, yet we go along the road, even if we die at the end of the road, or the whole planet is destroyed. The apocalypse is certain, both at individual and global level. Our mission is to live with the awareness of this and to still keep any intangible and irrational faith.
